Sharifa Dimanche

Sharifa affectionately known as Rifa is the creator and host of The Sunday Social Hour. Over the years she has developed her voice battling loss, disappointment, failure and being vulnerable and transparent with those closest to her through it all.

It’s through those moments where Blu was formed. Blu- Black-women Living & Understanding – a group for black women, all friends came together to laugh, cry, lean on each other and encourage each other. It’s in that group joy and love and friendship has been found as well as where Rifa’s desires and passions were heard, nurtured, prayed for, and planned. Rifa brings with her that same passion, dedication, and focus of elevating voices to The Sunday Social Hour in hopes to promote education, healing and joy to the community.
